In sep 2018 I experienced serious abdominal pain. My gastrointestinal doc did both upper and lower procedures which were negative. A ct scan then found my gallbladder not functioning. In October it was laparoscopically removed with no trouble.. abdominal pain was substantially lessened but not eliminated.
My stomach is now distended and firm with abdominal pain on my left side. Various diagnoses since then have gone nowhere.

Hello and welcome to EHF !

I went through your query and i understand your concern. After cholecystectomy, pain in abdomen and distension is common and needs supportive and symptomatic care. Diet lifestyles adjustments are important. Avoiding FOD MAPS diet helps. Visit our IBS health center for further information.
