abdominal pain........poss. pregnancy??

I've been having some abdominal discomfort lately. My abdomen feels as though i have some built up pressure, I have been unable to lay on my stomach due to this pressure. My bowel movements have not changed and are still regular. I switched from depoprivera IM birth control to Beyaz oral contraceptive in April of this year and I have yet to have my period. I had some spotting this month but it only lasted for one day. I have taken some home pregnancy tests but all of which have come back negative. Im not really sure whats going on. Any ideas????

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Your symptoms might be due to switch over from shot to pills as it causes hormonal derangements in the body.Irregular periods and spotting are associated with pill use.If you have been taking the pills regularly throughout then chances of pregnancy are remote.
If the symptoms are too bothersome consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation.

Take Care!
