i have a lump under the skin on my forearm, it's quite firm but not painful, any idea what it might be ?

With the limited details provided, it is difficult to give a pinpoint diagnosis.

Most probably it could be a enlarged lymph mode. The other causes which can appear in similar manner would include a ganglion cyst arising from the tendons in the forearm.

For a proper diagnosis, and treatment, you might consult your doctor for a physical examination.
