my girlfriends period is a little late and today she said she had a little blood in her urine (just once) and then just a little brownish discharge. i want to know if this could be implantation bleeding or not. it's been about 15 days since ovulation and she doesn't really have any other pregnancy symptoms. no sore breasts or nausea or anything. but she says she has just a slight pain in the upper part of her belly.

could this be her period or is there a chance she's pregnant?

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If her altered spotting/bleeding that she had was within 6-12 days of ovulation, then it could be probable implantation bleeding. Wait and watch for her periods. Look out for development of any new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. She should visit her doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance if she does not get her periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if she gets abnormal bleeding. If pregnancy gets ruled out and if she is not ready for pregnancy, but intends to remain sexually active, she should consider getting started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after her periods). She should be regular with birth control use as instructed and avoid having unprotected sexual contact if not ready for pregnancy.
Take care.
