I accidentally scolded myself with boiling water. It went though my top onto my skin. It took a bit of skin off there is a small patch left. I notice little blisters forming outside of the sore. But still the patch with no skin is there. It stings also with water while showering.

How many days is an estimate healing time?. Will my skin with pigment grow back or is it likely to be a patch there forever?. Please help me as am very depressed about it.

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Though an image of the blisters or a clinical examination would be the better option before commenting. Based on the description of the burns it looks like a superficial burn , most likely a first degree burn and would require at least a week before resolution of the blisters sets in. Keep the area dry and clean. Use topical antibiotics and antiseptic measures for effective healing, in consult with your doctor.

wishing you best of health

thanks
