Launch of the “Catania” Film

March 22nd, 2012 by Doug Bremner

I wrote a screenplya called “Catania”, about five Italian sisters who return to their home to divide up the family art and furniture, when all hell breaks loose. Catania is co-written, directed, produced, acted in and/or line directed by Doug, Sabina, Dylan, Viola Bremner and/or Vaccarino, and many others. We are looking forward to casting and filming in the Summer of 2012.

Catania was a quarter-finalist in the PAGE International Screenwriters Awards for 2011 which is one of the most prestigious contests for screenwriters in Hollywood. Since then we have been working to revise the screenplay.

Another screenplay “Murder Without Death” based on the true story of a doctor from Georgia who was framed and put in jail by an unscrupulous factory owner is a finalist in the Charleston International Film Festival for 2012 and we will be attending the awards ceremony on April 15, 2012, and will let you know the outcome of the awards.

Anyone interested has the opportunity to become a part-owner of the film for $200. If you are interested in getting a copy of the screenplay and business plan send me an email. You could throw away some money but have fun in the meantime, and maybe make a lot more in the meantime.

Thank you all for your support!
