“The consequences of not having eHealthForum by my side just may have ended my life or just lived in solitude shutting the whole world out. eHealthForum has given me the strength that I have lacked for two years and brought me back to reality and knowing that there are people out there that do care and have the love for one another to hold them up when they fall. I think I might have been dead if not for eHealthForum.

“All my life I have plagued with illness. Starting at age five with severe asthma and allergies. As I got older more and more illness came upon me. As an adult, then being a smoker, I came down with chronic bronchitis and other lung illnesses. In 2003 I had to have an emergency appendectomy that caused me to have a very severe infection in the incision (MRSA) and was in the hospital for over a week.

“At that time I knew I had to leave the health care industry and find something else. So I went to work for a gynaecologist thinking that would be the lesser of evils, not being around those that may be very sick. I was there for about a month when I can down with double pneumonia and was only 10 min from death. It was then I knew my career was over and it was the end of the road. I was 10 out of 16 days in critical care unit.

“Upon discharge, when I got home, I immediately went into a severe stage of depression. I had lost 23 years of my life. Suicidal thoughts had crossed my mind many a time. I went on my computer to try and fine a health board that would suit my needs. Going from one to another finding nothing but compassionless members, arguing over anything they could. I did this search for a good six months. Then a friend on another board told me about eHealthForum. I logged on and read many posts. What I found was serial. It was everything and more that I was looking for: One of the most compassionate board of members anyone could hope for, members that actually cared about each other, members that were there for you through thick and thin, good days and bad days.

“Not only has eHealthForum saved my life but, being in the health care industry for so very long, I can now put some of my learning’s to help other’s needs. There are no words that I can say that would made eHealthForum any more upstanding then it already is; it has given me back my life and a reason to go on by helping others.

“If there is anyone out there that feels hopeless and needs some compassion and help, go to ehealthforum.com where you will find friendship, compassion and help all in one place.
