ALBANY, New York (Reuters) - New Yorkers will no longer be required to take an eye test to renew their driver's licenses under a rule change that takes effect on Wednesday.
A decision made by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles to allow drivers to state they meet the vision requirement for renewing their driver's license without a vision test is drawing criticism from one area state legislator.
