Sleepy Eye Public School held their homecoming Sept. 19-23 with a variety of activities throughout the week. Homecoming ended Friday night with a home win against Wabasso.

Timothy Schrock got a rude awakening on the job early Thursday morning. Schrock, 41, told police he fell asleep while delivering newspapers and drove off the end of Park Shore Drive into Eagle Lake canal.
