Zoloft and gas!

So I have been taking 50 mg of zoloft for about a year for my anxiety disorder and depression. I've done some reading and know what to expect in the next week as I stop taking it, what I wonder about is if my anxietal and depressive symptoms are going to come back the way they were? If you have any knowledge about "remission" I'd REALLY appreciate it.
