I had been sufferning from complex partial seizure disorders from last 6 years i had been taking earlier sodium valporate then after through last year i had been taking levicetram however i used to get seizure once in 3 months now th doc has recemended me Eslicarbazepine (Zebinix) kindly suggest me how it will act in my brain, how it will reduce my seizure further removing my seizure order completely
PLEASE HELP

Eslicarbazepine is a sodium channel blocker. It inhibits the firing of those neurons that are responsible for seizure activity, thereby reducing seizure frequency. If it will remove your seizures completely, that's a question that only time will answer, but eslicarbazepine has been shown to do it in very refractory patients. Good luck!
