Hi... I recently regained custody of my son he is 2 and a half right now. and ive noticed he clearly has cavitys!! and LOTS of them!! but there are no dentists in my area that will deal with children as young as him, well there is one doctor, but he straps the kids down and i do not like that idea...
but is there ne other option? they have got to be hurting his poor lil teeth

Definitely do not take him to the dentist who straps kids down. I don't know how they get away with that. If we did that in our homes the CRS would be right on us.

If you have any friends ask around. It does hurt to just start calling the different dentists and ask if they would be willing to take on a child of that age.

Whatever you decide, it is very important to get this taken care of as soon as you can before any nerve damage is done. My daughter had cavities and I had no idea that she would need crowns and pulpotomies. I had to drive 30 minutes to my pediatric dentist.
