Yellow vaginal discharge

I think any color other than white should be checked out just to make sure. Is there a bad odor to it?

I too am 17 weeks and I havent experienced this yet. Im a 1st time mommy so I dont have to much to say. Maybe someone else has better advice?

Can you call your doc office and talk to one of the nurses there? They can tell you if you need to be seen or not. Plus there usually is another doc you can see in the event that your doc is gone, like his collegue or something.
Im like you though, I need to know....lol

you NEED to go to the doctor, the pains you are feeling could be contractions, if you have an infection it can cause premature labor, i had the same thing when i was 18 weeks, my doctor told me everything was fine but i NEEDED to get on antibiotics or something COULD happen

Thats so cool. When are you due? I am due September 10 and on the 21st I find out what I am having. I cannot wait.

I havent had pains in my side at all. I only have experience back pain and sometimes sharp pains in my lower pelvis. But like the previous poster stated those pains on your side could be an infection. I hope you have went to the doctor since then.....

It stoped after a couple of days. I forgot to tell me doctor but since it stopped I think I am ok. I still get the pains I mentioned that but he said it was normal... Thank for your help! They changed my due date to September 18 I will find out on the 24th! You will have to let me know what you're having!!!!!!!!

If you continue to have a dark yellow discharge or it comes back with an odor, definitely go back to your doctor. It could be a bacterial infection (like a yeast infection) which would easily be treated, but could lead to bad things if it isn't. That's exciting that you guys are both due so close Pregnancy buddies! haha
