Yellow ring surrounding the pupil.

Hello everyone , I'd like to know the meaning of the yellow circle/ ring surrounding the pupil. in my eyes and in general . Moreover, I'd like to know whether all eye colours share this yellow circle phenomenon or is it exclusive to certain eye colours. another thing, when I was born , my mother says that during my first two weeks as an infant that yellow circle was the only visible colour in my eyes therefore it was strange to see a baby with yellow eyes.
