I got a friend who says she might have a yeast infection. She is trying Vineger every day and washing it away with water when it starts to burn. I heard other responses saying that the only way to get rid of this infection is to visit a doctor to see the problem but she doesnt want to or something like that. I wanted to know if Vinegar worked? Is there any possible way? What can she do?

A natural remedy I know of for this problem is yoghurt. I have tried this and found it to be extremely messy. The only thing that ever worked for me was Canesten which can now be purchased from the pharmacy in Australia. If she is suffering enough she will eventually go the medication route because it can get really unbearable. There is no longer any need to visit the doctor as long as she is sure this is the reason for her symptoms.

you can get monostat from the srugstore...the itchyness and soreness should go away in a few days and the discharge will last anywhere from 5-12 days. also there are creams and wipes to sooth.
