Hi -
So I've been having bizarre symptoms since around February. At first it was irregular vaginal bleeding in between periods (but only once), odor, thick yellowy discharge, and itchiness/redness in the labia minora. This didn't last long - maybe a week tops. this was back in February.

Not much later some of the symptoms returned, but mainly only the itching/redness. I had the clumpy white discharge as well as occasional odor. The itching can be in different places, but is still mainly in the right side of the labia minora. This has been going off & on ever since, and I went to a gynecologist once...she diagnosed me with a yeast infection and gave me medicine, which had some effect but not much (it was a 24-hour pill). I also didn't follow instructions correctly. I was soon afterwards diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. Again, the irritation and redness and discharge are still occurring, as well as some new developments.

I had one bump show up, but it didn't hurt and didn't blister; it acted like an infected hair follicle but I'm still paranoid. I've never had a blister there. I've been with 6 different guys, though I'm certain that if this is the worst (herpes, ahhhh, it's terrifying to even think of being tested) it could only have come from one of two. I'm 20, and I'm fairly certain they were all clean - there's just one I don't know as much about.

What's worrying the most is the very recent appearance of small, barely noticeable blood-red patches underneath the skin of the irritated labia. What are these? What's going on? This only started showing up in February and it's made me neurotic ever since, especially now because I just entered into a relationship with someone I care about deeply - I need to know what's going on but I'm afraid to get tested for herpes. I've been tested and am clean for everything else. I was considering trying a 7-day yeast treatment instead...I'm scared. Thoughts?

you need to be tested to make sure... It could be either. Ive been using monistat 7day... i dont know if i have herpes or yeast infection but i havent had the bumps or discharge just the redness and itching. So im going to get the whole std check up and then a regular check up 2moro.
