Im pretty sure I have a yeast infection. The symptoms are classic. I need to find a way I can treat this without a doctor. I have health coverage but I work till 4:30 and I would have to pay a 40.00 copay plus buy medication. I cannot use Monistat or Vagisil (cream form). I am allergic to an ingredient that’s in both of them. It starts with a c but I cant remember what it was. I have serious reaction to it…I had to get 2 shots in my hips to take care of the allergy/.

In the past I have taken diflucan in the pill form and it works. Are there any other medications out there that are in pill form? Or what about all the home remedies I have read about? Like garlic cloves, vinegar douche, and yogurt. Does any of these things work? I really need to get rid of this infection. I hate being uncomfortable. Thanks

I have a friend that swears by live culture unsweetened yogurt.

Make sure its live culture. It means that it contains Lactobacillus Acidophilus which keeps Candida in check. Candida is the yeast in yeast infection.

Candida loves sugar so it should have no sugar in it (unsweetened). Also make sure it is unflavored. As much as you want to get rid of the yeast smell, strawberries or cherry is not the way to go.

You eat it and apply it to the vagina and vulva.

Hope this helps! I feel itchy for your part just thinking about it.
