I'm scared I got the wrong diagnosis.
I don't have itching, discharge, irritation when peeing or having sex.
My doctor said I should get some over the counter suppository. I don't like the thought of using a drug when I don't have any symptoms. What do you think I should do?

if your not having any symptoms what did you tell the doctor for him to tell you to buy over the counter suppositories?

I had a pap smear and I guess the results came back positive for a yeast infection. Doc called and said I should get some monistat. I'm not really sure what to do because my test has come back positive for unusual cells before but it turned out to be a false alarm. I'm not sure whether to trust them this time or not...

Extremely eHealthy
It also can take a couple of days for some people before they have symptoms. If your doctor said it's a yeast infection, get the medication, read the instructions on how to use it and then start using it.

Be sure you continue to use the medication as directed on the package until it's gone, even if you have no symptoms.
