I had taken some antibiotics for a tooth infection and then got what I believed was a yeast infection because of them. I used an over the counter yeast med that has worked in the past for me but this time it didnt. Not only do I have a horrible itch and rash in my vaginal area but under my breasts and my underarms as well and I feel like I will go insane if I cannot get rid of it! I am currently unemployed and no insurance and no doctor or clinic will see me without any money! What the heck is this please help!

Hey Blondi,
Id recommend juniper berry tea, if you have any Juniper bushes around your home you can collect them, clean them in some water/boil them in a small amount of water depending on how many you acquire. I use a small amount of water, let it cool in the fridge and add it to some juice.
Ive had several yeast infections and have done this, clears them right up.
If it is so bad that you need to see a doctor call the hospital and ask if there are any community clinics out there in your area that can see you, tell them you don't have money there are options out there for people without money, you just have to ask around.

It sounds to me like you have a massive yeast infection. And yes, you can get yeast under your breasts, under your arms, even in your mouth...any place damp is a great place for yeast to develop. You are going to have to find some way to see a doctor, even if it means going to the Emergency Room. And the ER cannot deny treatment just because you cannot afford to pay. The reason you need to go is because the treatment you are most likely going to need is called Nystatin and it is prescription only. Now, if the OTC is not working on your vaginal infection then you need to see about getting a prescription strength medicine. However, you could try using the OTC yeast infection medicine (in cream form only) on the rash under your breasts. See if it works or at least alleviates it a bit. I used monistat on my son's bottom when he was three because we were going through an insurance transfer so we were temporarily uninsured. It actually cleared up his yeast infection just as well as the Nystatin would.

Was a yeast infection
Turns out I have type 2 diabetes. My bloodsugar was extremely high and the yeast was having a buffet feast with all that sugar! Just wanted to post what happened next just in case there is anyone else going thru the same thing. Nice to have some idea to follow up on.

chronic itch/scale deep in ear/rash in arms pits
Is there a vegetarian diet(lacto/ovo) that will help find relief from these symptoms? I do not know if they are related...the underarm rash seems to appear during high levels of stress in my attitude towards work. The ear itch, scale and pain has been chronic for 5 years?
