I'd suggest that you manage your yeast infection via diet. You can increase your vegetable intake, and slow down on fruits, breads, and sugars.

Candida is the scientific name for yeast. It is a fungus that lives almost everywhere, including in your body. Usually, your immune system keeps yeast under control. If you are sick or taking antibiotics, it can multiply and cause an infection. So, you can also help control candida by eating intestinal bacteria that fights off candida like acidophilus, the active ingredient found in live yogurt. There are also acidophilus supplements that you can take.

If you have a weak immune system, you can also try to strengthen it with rest and immune system vitamins and supplements like echinacea, goldenseal and others...maybe look into buying Wellness Formula. My favorite!

By washing frequently with a natural soap without any chemicals or perfumes and changing pads very often even when your period is going down. If you leave a couple of drops of blood on a pad for a few hours, it grows bacteria which makes it's way in and can cause infection.
