HI there. I started to miss 2 months, or up to 5 months at a time when I was 42. I'm now 47, been having major hot flashes, not period for 4 months and now the hot flashes have gone away again and I feel like I'm going to have a period. What you are experiencing is not unusual and could go on for a while.

My menses became irregular when I was 41 years old. I thought I was going very stressful period and I would be ok. In the end I started having a hot flashes, anxiety and felt very depressed. I would never imagined my self being in that situation. I am 42 and has been using HRT. I feel like it is a magic. Anyway, Good luck what you go through

I'm in the same situation as you emmt. I think I've been going through this for a few years but was just officially diagnosed. I'm 42 also.
