valkyrie turned a year old yesterday so i
guess its time for an update
shes 31 inches tall now, shes been walking
since 9 months (although shes having
balance problems these last few weeks)
shes talking up a storm, she says mama,
daddy (dah dee), yeah, no, more, baba
(bottle), down, up, grandma (gumma), hi,
bye, go, stop, and more. however her
health has gone down and gotten very very
poor, she spends most of her days sleeping
or screaming, she only will take 8-12 oz
of formula a day the most i can get into
her is 16 oz, she is off solid foods (just
formula and water) because they think she
may have a chronic health condition that
causes severe food allergies and problems
with the esophegus, she has gone from
nearly 24 lbs to under 22 lbs in the past
month, other then that she is doing very
well

I can't believe it's been a year! Her
talking sounds amazing! Mika only says 4
or 5 words. I'm so sorry to hear about all
of her health problems and i really hope
she gets better soon

Happy Birthday Val!
I'm so sorry to hear about her health
problems. Is she seeing a specialist? I
hope they can figure out what's wrong very
soon. Keep us updated!

thank you both
danni, it is crazy i NEVER expected her to
do all this so early. 4-5 words is
wonderful though, most 11 month olds dont
even say that much
emily (im pretty sure thats right, if not
im very sorry), yeah shes seeing a
pediatric gi specialist (well we are
actualy between gi's right now, but we
should be getting her next appoinment
within the next week hopefully

ohhhh. sorry to hear about her health.
nothing worse than seeing your little baby
having a rough time like that huh? hope
things work out and it gets taken care of.
even with all that she sounds like she's
doing really well with her development so
hopefully this will just be a bump in the
road. good luck and good vibes sent your
way.
and of course, Happy Birthday!

Happy belated birthday. I hope the docs
can figure out what's wrong and her health
starts improving. Having a sick little
one can be rough.

Sorry it took me so long to reply! I kept
forgetting to check this forum.
So sorry about all the health problems.
It's so discouraging to see your child
suffer. Hopefully the dr's can figure out
something to help her.
