Hi,
I am 29 year old mother of 3. I really need some help in the form of advice. Let me start at the beginning. Two years ago, I started having pain in the bone in my right shin. My doctor ran a bunch of tests and even treated me for arthritis, with no relief. Then about a year ago, I started to lose weight, not a lot, but I wasn't trying to lose weight and it kept happening, like one pound one week then two the next. I also started to have mild fatigue. Then 9 months ago a lymphnode in my neck swelled. My doctor put me on an antibiotic thinking I might have an infection, but after finishing the antibiotics, there was no change. He then changed my allergy meds, but agian no change. He sent me for a ct-scan that showed the lymphnode to be .6cm large. He then sent me to a ruematologist who looked for fibermyalgia and arthritis, with no positive results. Just to be sure, the ruematologist put me on Nurotin for a month and it didn't help. After all the tests and specialist with no results, my doctor decided to send me to an oncologist, feeling that with my family history and symptoms that I more than likely had lymphoma. The oncologist ran a bunch of tests that all came back negative and decided to have me come back once a month. By the second month, I was now having night sweats and the fatigue was becoming extreme. I was also having pain in the right side of my groin. He decided to send me to two other specialist, an GI and gynocologist. After many test with them, some painfull, I still had no results, so the oncologist sent me to have an ultrasound on my groin. The ultrasound showed an enlarged lymphnode of 2 cm that wasn't palpable physically. Three weeks later, during an exam by the onclogist, he felt more enlarged lymphnodes in the left groin and in my armpits. I have been seeing him regularly for 7 months now and he still can't seem to decide what he wants to do. One day he wants to do a bonemarrow biopsy and the next time he wants me to go to a new ruematologist for a second opionion. I saw him agian this past thursday and he has ordered a new ultrasound on my right groin, a full blood count and doesn't want to see me agian until January. While there, I showed him some red spots all over my body that are about pin-point in size, which he said is bleeding and not something to worry about. I have also been getting sick a lot and recently had sudden onset pnuemonia for a month which took two rounds of antibiotics and a round of steriods to clear up. In a years time I have lost about 30 lbs unintentionaly and am so tired that I can bearly function most days. I also wake up every morning drenched in sweat. With his lack of concern, I started doing some research and found that all of my symptoms match those of a form of leukemia. Is this Lymphoma or Leukemia? And what should I do? It will be a year since the lymphnode swelled and Three years since the bone pain started by the time I see him agian. I am seriously worried.

First sorry, I kind of rambled on in my first post, but I have been very fustrated and scared. I will make it shorter here.

2 years ago- pain in my shin bone started and has now spread to a few other bones

1 year ago- started to lose weight now up to about 30 lbs and mild fatigue which is now severe.

9 months ago- lymphnode swelled in my neck, now have multiple swollen lymphnodes in neck groin and armpits

Other sypmtoms that have showed up at different times- night sweats, frequent infections and pin-point red spots that oncologist says is bleeding. I also bruise and bleed easily.

Is this leukemia?
