Q: Yaz: bleeding = no pregnancy?

I'm on the pill (Yaz) for about 2 years now, I take them correctly in general, and the last time I had intercourse was in April... my first withdrawal bleeding from the pill after that was very light and a bit brown, and the next one, in May, looked normal and was heavier than usual, with some spotting a couple of days before it started. This month I'm a bit worried as I felt some odd cramps before even finishing the pack, and now the withdrawal bleed is late... I got period like cramps today and was certain it would come, but nothing... I feel a bit bloated too but other than that there's no pregnancy symptom.

Again, I had two withdrawal bleeds since the last intercourse, so should I still consider the possibility of pregnancy? I've done some research online but I couldn't find consistent info about the withdrawal bleed being a proof that there is no pregnancy.

Thanks.

I have also been wondering about this topic, and to the best of my knowledge, a withdrawal bleed is a fairly good sign one is not pregnant. From what I have read, the lining of the uterus would NOT shed if one were pregnant, and so no bleeding would occur. I have also read that for most women who become pregnant on the pill, a MISSED withdrawal bleed is their first sign of pregnancy.

But, please remember, if you have been taking your pills correctly, there is a very slim chance you are pregnant.
I am going to my doctor soon and I will ask her about this and get back to you, as I am curious myself! Best of luck.

Being on the BC can mess up your body. Everything that was normal before is not anymore and vice versa. If you took the pills correctly, you are probably not pregnant but there is a slim chance. WHY DONT YOU TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST? Is it not a faster answer than waiting for someone to respond to your question online?
Good luck!
