Ok, so my girlfriend takes her 4th inactive YAZ birth control pill tomorrow at 9pm. She still hasn't had her period but says she felt like she had PMS signs.

She took a clinical pregnancy test a week ago that came back negative. I only see her on the weekends and we had unprotected sex on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but I pull out and she takes her pill at the right time everyday. She started her inactive pills on Saturday.

I'm just wondering if I should be freaking out or if everything should be ok. She was on birth control, I pulled out, and it was a day before her period was supposed to start.

What do you guys think?

If she takes her birth control regularly and has been doing so for at least a few months, oral contraceptives are around 97% efficient in preventing pregnancy. To boost that statistic up to 99%, you can double up and use condoms the next time that you see her to be even more protected. Her period might be late due to stress or hormonal imbalance.
