What do you consider unprotected sex? Have you been taking your pill on time? If you have sex without a condom, as long as you are taking your pill on time every day then you are still 99% protected. It is common to skip your period when on birth control, and sometimes it just happens. However, if you are worried you can take a pregnancy test to ease your mind and figure things out. There is still always that, although rare, 1% chance that it failed. I would wait two weeks and take a test. Good luck!
