I'm currently in my fifth month of Yasmin.
I had sex without a condom on the second
day of my placebo pills over the weekend.
It was the second time we've had sex
without a condom in our year of
couple-hood and the first time during
which he came in me. I started my period
the very next day.
I'm pretty certain I'm not pregnant, but I
guess I just want a second opinion because
historically, the women in my family have
been VERY fertile. Does having a period
while on birth control serve as a
guarantee of not being pregnant? Can I
rely on this as a barometer? Even though
I'm on birth control and take it at
exactly the same time every day, I'm just
hyper-paranoid about becoming pregnant.
Using a condom gives me peace of mind but
I would prefer to have sex without one in
the future.
Any advice, etc., would be great. Thanks!

As long as you take your pill correctly,
which you said you do, then you are good
to go!

You're fine!! You just need to take the
pill at the same time. If you do that, you
have very little to worry about!!
