X-ray cause loss of baby ?

hi katesad, so sorry for your loss. No your x-ray was not the cause. You would need about twenty or more x-rays and they would have to be mainly directed at the pelvic area. The reason I know this is because I did my research.. I had about 15 x-rays right at the beginning of pregnancy all of my pelvic area hips and back and I was told they didn't think it had anything to do with my baby dying. She was supposed to be 20wks but she only measured 18 wks 4 days. She also had no heart beat. I believe my x-rays might have hurt my baby but you should not even think that. Like I said you need alot of radiation. If you look it up you will see. So don't blame yourself it was not the x-ray you had I promise. Hope you feel better and God bless your baby in heaven.

This might sound far fetched but my wife recently had a still birth at 23 weeks. The baby had passed for at least a week. My wife suspects that it was the new x-ray back-scatter body scanner she went through at the airport in Boston Right around the time the doctors believe the baby passed. We had also just had a high level ultrasound the week before that which showed that everything was perfectly normal and healthy with the baby.
