hi, ive been on birth control pills on and off over the past year. i recently went off for a week after receiving the Lap-Band. and now ive started up again on tri-lo-sprintec. i started on a thursday not the sunday start or even the 1st day of my period either. since i started randomly. when is it safe to start haveing unprotected sex again?

You will need to take the pill for seven days in a row before the pill is effective.
