I have had Carpal Tunnel for about a year and suffer on and off with the pain and numbness which seems to directly correspond with the amount of hours spent at my computer. Since discovery of the carpal tunnel I have had what I can only describe as a bony lump on the underside of my wrist, pinky finger side which is visible as a protrusion to the side of my wrist. Has anyone else experienced this as a side result of CTS or should I be concerned that there could be something else going on?

This could happen depending upon the placement of your wrists when you type...I have a pull out drawer type of U desk set up...My hands are below the writing table...This is the way I was taught in high school...It is the rested position...When your hands are up on the desk or table, it is an unnatural position for typing...This alone is the culprit in much of the CT problems...It is possible that this protrusion on your wrist came from this....If you are concerned about this, see your physician...I hope it gets better..Take care...
