I was playing squash about 5 weeks ago, and ran into a wall hurting my wrist. I stopped playing as it was quite painful. I assumed it was just a strain or sprain as I could move it ok. Since then it has gradually gotten worse. More painful and more restrictive movement. Is it normal for a sprain to take this long to heal? Could I possibly have a small hairline fracture or something? Should I bother heading in for an xray or just rest it and see how it goes fo ranother while. At the moment, its hard to write, type and drive (its my right hand. The pain sometimes travels into my thum and little finger.

Thanks

Gunter

If the pain has not gotten gotten better I would definitely have this checked out...You could have a fracture...If so, you would want it taken care of...Good luck....
