Q: Wound bleeding after appendectomy

Hello, I had an appendectomy (traditional method) about 2 weeks ago. The wound was heeling very well and right now only plasters are holding it. However, today I noticed some bleeding on one extremity of the wound - especially when I tried to removed the plaster (they are already starting to detach themselves). The bleeding is not excessive, but it's definitely fresh blood. Is this normal?

Extremely eHealthy
Some blood under the clear plastic dressing is quite common and unless it is a large amount, like evident bleeding, it is not a cause for concern.
