when checking my breasts for lumps I pressed down and felt some little lumps about the size of a baked bean in the left breast. About a month ago I went to the doctor with chest pains and had ECG and blood test and all was normal. Recently I have also been feeling very down and tired and the left breast aches a lot especially at night. I'm so worried and am wondering whether this is ok because it's just before my period. However I'm also concerned because my blood pressure is high for my age and size and wondered if it could be a sign. I'm getting an x ray done at the hospital - would this show any signs of cancer in the breast? I can't sleep I'm so worried.

Feeling very tired is a side effect of having hypertension.
You are asking about relation between hypertension and breast cancer.
Hypertension doesn't raise the risk for breast cancer directly, but, having greater body mass index scores in conjunction with hypertension is linked with greater risk for breast cancer.
Some clinicians think that certain anti hypertensive drugs have a malignancy potential.
This pain and lumps felt in your breast can be changes due to fibrocystic condition, that may affect only one breast and its symptoms are usually more prominent premenstrually.
Chest x-ray isn't indicate to detect breast changes.
Mammogram is an x-ray for the breasts.

Best wishes!
