Hello I had an abortion last year, I conceived the day my period stopped on the 1st of Jan 2011 which is rare I think, lately I have been having unprotected sex nearly all this month, I came off on the 6th and started on the 2nd of march, after that I have been having unprotected nearly every other day, lately I've been having to pre often, I have bright blue veins really showable on my breasts and my nipples are tender, I have had abdominal pains and been feeling ill sometimes during the day and normally in the morning. I have also had a lot of constipation and then its really soft sometimes...I was just wondering if I'm really likely to be pregnant seeming as I got pregnant one day after I got off my period last time?....

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. These can be the symptoms of pregnancy. Hence, it makes sense to do a urine for pregnancy (UPT) test to rule out pregnancy or do a serum beta HCG test which is a little more sensitive test for the confirmation/ruling out pregnancy.

You should consult a gynecologist and get it checked.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
