Ive had this problem for some time but was finaly diagnosed several months back. Theyve told me there are things that can be done but it could come back and get worse. My womvbe lineings quite badly growing on the outside and not sure if it can get worse.
I dont bleed and get pain as much durin sex as i used ti with my X as he was larger, and due to the hormones im on my periods dont seem to be as bad. ive been told i can leave it or have something done. My mother had the same but a severe case as it was left for so long. What are the chances of this getting worse over the years, if i do go ahead are there chances that it could come back quickly and worse? Ive never spoken to anyone with it before bar my mum so am curiouse to know others experiences. My doctors and the hospital have explained a bit but to be honest its a male gyno doc who has no experience of the pain etc himself so would like some actuall sufferers advice please.

unfortunatley there is no cure for endometriosis at this time their is only treatment... i take birth control conteniously for three months then on my thrid month i actually take the row of water pills and have my period.. the estrogen that is dispensed when u have ur period makes the endo grow so it is best if u actually dont have ur period for a while to slow down the growth u can also just not have ur period at all it depends on what ur doc suggests and what u feel is right for u ... i have also had a labrascopy to conferm i have endo and also to remove the scar tissue wich made me feel some better ... i also have pain during entercorse as my boy friend is quite big himself lol ... if u have any specific questions feel free to ask

I already take the pill to help thing and for other things, plus co cypronal which is a hormon therapy as i have PCOS and have sufferd exces testostorone. Ive been on these some time now and not had a period in several months but am still having problems so thats why they suggested a operation. Do you know how long it takes to come back again after they have removed some of it? Did you find it helped a lot? Not sure if its going to be worth it or not.
Thanks so much

im not sure how long it takes to grow back i have only had this about a year ... im sure it all depends on how advanced it is all ... the surgery helped me tremendously about a week after the surgery my pain was 90 times better now i only get it once and a while before my period ... they actually only removbed about a centameter of scar tissue and it was like new again
