About two days ago I had sex with my boyfriend numerous times and all the while I was partially dry. The next day I woke up and there was a fishy smell down there. Nothing hurts or burns. I thought this was just some sort of unbalance so I have been using plain yogurt and teatree oil in a tampon to fix the balance. This has happened to me before after a night of sex more than one time. What do I do help me!

Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. Going by your symptoms, it looks like bacterial vaginosis to me. It is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharge. It is caused by a change in the type of bacteria found in the vagina.

In addition to unpleasant "fishy" vaginal odor, thin white or yellowish discharge from vagina may also be present. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by antibiotics (pessaries and oral antibiotics) for which I would suggest a gynecologist’s evaluation.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
