Welcome to ehealthforum,
If the symptoms persist for more than 3-5 days, you should consider getting repeat examination done along with vaginal swab/smear test and get started on appropriate medications for the cure. If infective cause is detected (and if you are sexually active), get your partner also treated simultaneously to prevent chances of re-infection and avoid having unprotected intercourse while both of you are on treatment course. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle. Avoid tight fitting clothes. Avoid use of harsh soap or perfumes in the area. Use loose cotton undergarments.
thanks for your reply.. I went back and got a pill for the yeast infection and started seeing changes I am no longer having that white discharge and itching has stopped.. but I still see lumps inside.... is that something that happens when yeast infection is still present?
