They will give you some medication to help you on this...I have had this done and it really is not as bad as it sounds...The best thing you are doing is getting them all out rather than infect the rest of your jaw...This happened to me and believe me it was not fun...Just be prepared to eat soft foods for a while...You will be fine...

Best wishes,
Caroline

i had all 4 of mine pulled out at one time. i was put to sleep and the procedure went fine. My bottom two was already up rooted but the top 2 was not. i do not think they had to cut through a bone or anything. You have to care for you mouth afterwards. i was given a syringe to clean out my mouth after i ate to prevent infections. Mine healed very well and i have not had problems since. Good luck!

Ouch...
I know how that feels... I finally had mine taken out... I only had 3 wisdom teeth that were in. That pain you had could've been from an abscess. I know that's what mine was and I was put on Amoxi and some other type of antibiotic to keep the infection out and cut down the swelling. I hope you are recovering well from this. I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.
