Will taking laxatives affect my nexplanon implant? I had it fitted 2 months ago and today was the first time i had sex without added contraceptives forgeting that i had taken laxatives last night. Is there a possablity that i could become pregnant?

Laxatives and antibiotics usually affect the efficacy of the oral contraceptive pills and not the injectable or implant forms. You should continue to remain protected. However, if using any other medication while being on it, consider using additional protection to ensure complete protection. For further clarifications, visit your gynecologist or read the instruction leaflet.
