Hi I'm new ...... umm so I'm pregnant for
the second time. The first time i had an
abortion. but my question is I'm on prozac
for my Depression and I'm just wondering
if i should keep taking it or will it harm
my baby ?

When I became pregnant with my last son I
was on Prozac and I quit taking it when I
found out I was pregnant. Best thing to do
is talk to your OB and the prescribing
doctor to find out if you need to stop
taking it.
i wasnt aware you could just call and ask
.... but thanks i will do that tomorrow

be fine but i just really dont want to

It is very important that you call
immediately, because the first trimester
is the most dangerous time for a
developing embryo with respect to being
harmed by medications. Also, if you take
prozac during the third trimester the
newborn might have withdrawal symptoms
when it's delivered.
You absolutely can call your doctor's
office any time 24/7.
