Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Ativan is recommended for anxiety disorders usually. If your partner is having it would not make much difference on the pregnancy.Any drug taken by the mother may have significant effect on the baby. But psychiatric disorders are genetic in origin and so the chances of baby having it are present which might be present in later life.
If you are planning for conception consider taking Folic acid 3 months preconception as it prevents neural tube defect in the child.
Take care!
