Q: will i survive on this?

I am about to go on a diet where i eat 300 cals a day, and burn off 200 doing half an hour on my treadmill, so will be ending the day with maybe around 100 cals. How long would I be able to live like that? I want to lose atleast 2 stone as i am 5 ft 3, 16, and weigh 10 and a half stone!! How long will it take me to lose this on this diet? thankyouxxx

Only stay on this diet for a couple of days the human body cannot survive for long on 100cal it will start shutting down organs in order to survive. Maybe your ideal weight should be reached another way?

I concur.

For losing weight in a way less damaging to your body, I would recommend more aerobic exercises, avoiding processed and fried foods (chips/crisps, bread, pasta), eating lean proteins (beans, fish, chicken), and taking in a lot of filling fruits and vegetables. Raw foods will make your body work harder breaking them down than if they are cooked, just go easy on the salad dressing - olive oil and a little vinegar should be fine.

Your caloric intake before exercise should be your target weight times 10. So if you're shooting to end up 10lbs you're right on track. However if your brain and heart together likely weigh more than 10 lbs so you'll have to choose. trying to exercise on 300 calories a day will kill you probably in just a few months but it will do real harm to your body pretty quickly. If you want to lose weight talk to a nutritionist or a personal trainer.

For eg you need more output than input. So well this is my day brkfst toast or youghurt morning snack of fruit lunch sandwich afternoon snack of fruit and dinner palm sized piece of protien and cup of vegs. I then go to the gym at 6pm and go on the ex bike for 30mins at a rapid pace. I then do sets of twelves of weights for my arms legs and back and then run on the tredmil for 30 mins and then use the cross trainer for 45mins. If you stick with something similar you will see results. It is not a diet it is a way of life. Everybody needs motivation ... every afternoon I go throuh the ohh i don't feel like going to the gym and then i just push myself to go but once i get there i enjoy it. As for eating starving yourself will not work. It is common sense. If you eat `poor foods your ass will suffer. Its ok to splurge everynow and then. Now i must be off as my daughter is eating a banana skin!!

I really don't understand babies .. I give her a banana she finds the skin and eats that instead. She prefers playdough over toast. She prefers mud over yoghurt!!
