Q: will i get pregnant soon?

hi...
i am hetal. i and my husband are trying for a baby since one year. and this time i missed my periods . and on tenth day i went to doc. she told me to do home pregnancy test. so i did it and it resulted negative. then my doc prescribed me "duphaston" to get my periods back. but i am doubting that if am pregnant then is it safe for my pregnancy. please help out of this. thank you....
