Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Spotting/light bleeding after periods might be suggestive of ovulation as sometimes during ovulation old menstrual blood is shed and it is normal. If your periods are irregular and you have been trying for conception since long then it could be indicative of underlying issues as ovarian cysts, endometritis, fibroid, thyroid disorder, hormonal derangements etc.

It is not possible to give a precise diagnosis without a proper examination. You require pelvic examination along with investigations as USG scan,Hormonal Analysis and ovulation study which would help in ruling out the exact cause and also to check whether egg is being released in the cycles.

Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation and exact diagnosis.

Take Care!
