So, I've been experiencing right side pain from my ribcage down to my pelvis. Most of my pain is lower by my hip. I've been experiencing this for a couple of moths now but it is really starting to hurt especially when I go to bed. I'm getting very gassy now and the right side of my belly button is really hard. What could this be? It's only on my right side. Could I be pregnant? Hernia? Appendicitis? Heellppp Sad

Hi,
Welcome to the ehealth forum and I am glad to help you out.

The various possibilities which present with such pain in the lower right abdomen are appendicitis, Crohn’s disease, bowel obstruction, ovarian cysts and pelvic inflammatory disease, irritable bowel syndrome , kidney obstruction or pyelonephritis, psoas abscess and volvolus (twisting of the sigmoid part of the large bowel on itself).

Investigations like ultrasound abdomen, CT abdomen and colonoscopy are required to confirm a diagnosis. My advise is to consult a physician and discuss these possibilities with him.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
