Alcoholic liver disease may be more common in some families. Liver disease usually occur too much drinking of alcohol. Alcohol causes liver damage when it enter the bloodstream and moves into the liver, where it gets separated into basic component. Excess amount of alcohol is excreted through kidneys.
General symptoms of liver disease include:
Dry mouth and increased thirst
Loss of appetite
Abdominal pain and tenderness
Nausea
Fatigue
Jaundice
Weight loss
Swelling or fluid build-up in the legs and in the abdomen when cirrhosis is present
