Why are my hemmoroids bleeding now, and not when I was in crazy

I've had hemmoroids years back, but not to knowledgeable about them. The last 4 days I have been suffering from them. Painful, but no blood til' today for some reason. My question is. Do hemmoroids start to bleed as swelling goes down? I seem to be over the excruciating pain part, but now they are bleeding. Next week I will be going to get them banded and removed. Can't deal with this again!
