Welcome to e health forum.

In case, you have a working diagnosis of Asthma, and are under treatment, presence of stress induced coughing, would be a indicator, that your treatment is inadequate. Hence additional medications including steroids to reduce long term airway hypersensitivity and Beta agonist inhalers (albuterol) may be needed to prevent such instances.

Other possible causes for such symptoms - can be due to -stress,anxiety related issues, Obesity, etc.

The abnormal sensory feelings in your legs can be due to peripheral neuropathy, neurological trauma (disc prolapse, nerve compression), Vitamin B 12 deficiency, thyroid disorders, abnormal body posture induced nerve paralysis, etc.

Hence consulting your doctor for a proper examination, counseling for stress relief and specific treatment of the underlying causes might be helpful.
