Aren't there any doctors that know about this issue? I empathize with 'concerned mother1' and her son. I can't get any answers eithher. Can't anyone even take a guess at this?

The passage of mucus and blood from the rectum can arise from multiple different colorectal problems (both benign and malignant). Therefore, a colonoscopy would be required to assess for these possible diagnoses (including colorectal cancer).

you know that cancer can be seen from ph i.e. most people with high blood pressure and diabetes don't get cancer and vice versa.
