Hi, when I wake up in the morning, I find that I have white stringy stuff dried up on the inside of my lips. It also accumulates on some of my front teeth and sometimes on the gums. I was wondering if anyone knows what the white stuff is. It can be easily peeled off and brushed away in the morning, respectively. Is the white stuff the cause of bad breath in the morning? What can I do to alleviate this?
FYI, I brush after every meal and before I go to bed. I also floss after my last meal of the day and use Listerine twice a day. I'm not really sure what else I can do about this.
I have read on the internet and everyone says that it is normal and that it is overnight plaque buildup because you don't have as much saliva in your mouth when you are sleeping.
